Some say that there is no G-d; and that Evolution proves
it. Others say that Evolution is a
G-dless, heartless, pointless, meaningless, empty path without hope for the
future. Of course, G-d could have simply
used evolution as a means of unfolding his plan, with all the happiness,
meaning and fulfilment that it can bring.
In the end, to an individual, what is the ‘right’ explanation is much
less important than the fact that it appears to give them reason and meaning in
their lives; and for society it is most important that all are led into a way
towards personal happiness and fulfilment through working for the good of all
and, just as the ancient books say, that is for the tending and nurturing of
all life on Earth – not just mankind.
Both G-d and Evolution would agree that man has a special
role to play on this Earth, but this also gives him a special responsibility,
and it is only through following the way to true happiness that he can live up
to those expectations.
When all is said and done; all that you need is love...
